Job Scope :
To manage Business/Product Development Strategy to achieve the followings :
· Formulate product strategy to grow revenue and achieve GM% targets for the assigned product lines and regions
· Examine market trends and perform new business development in the emerging mobile markets in China
· Manage business development strategy to grow customer base and enable new design wins
· Drive cost reduction initiatives to achieve profitability goals
Key Job Accountabilities :
Develop product and pricing strategy
Develop new customer base and manage design-in activities
Own technical data sheets, drive technical benchmarking and manage product roadmap
End market and technology trend, target customers OSAT TAM/SAM and competitive analysis
Develop focused customer strategies and metrics to drive growth
Provide cost targets to factories to achieve profitability targets
Working with sales to create customer specific strategy (product, pricing, capacity, factory selection) for new and existing customers
Provide guidance to factory and demand management team on capacity investment and allocation
Reporting Relationships :
This job reports to the VP of Product Technology Marketing
Required Experience and Qualifications :
At least 10 years experience in IC/semiconductor packaging industry, of which at least 5 years in Business Development, Product Management or Marketing with customer facing experience
OSAT experience particularly in Flip Chip Packaging will be preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (Power point, Excel, Project, Word, etc.) is essential
Motivated, self starter with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects without direct supervision
Solid interpersonal and communication skills as working cross functionally is required
Superior analytical & problem-solving skills
Ability to identify and quantify market trends and translate them into a product strategy
Ability to combine technology, financial and business data for decision making
Regular travels required
