Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for Management and Cost accounting, which include product costing, cost analyses, planning including SBP/AOP/QFF/IBP and reporting:
· Generates Scorecard and P&L reports on a monthly basis
· Generates inventory aging report and follow up
· Conducts cost analysis in the preparation of QFF, Standard Cost change, and AOP
· Prepares complete and accurate cost and overhead/capturing for the products.
· Prepares costing and variance analysis.
· Generates and analyzes bi-monthly SAG reports
· Ensures that critical support is adequately and effectively provided to operations in a timely manner, and also extends that support to PLs, functional Business Units and Corporate.
· Take charge in executing and implementing Corporate initiatives/programs
Sets up new devices STD cost in the system
Performs Inventory transaction verification
Checks and verifies daily pack outs
Leads PI cycle count at the end of each financial period (monthly/quarterly) and annual PI inventory count
Performs adjustment account entry for error transaction
Performs manual entry for auto intercompany accounting lines per Corporate instructions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy (or related field) from a recognized university and/or CPA qualified
At least 7 years of post-degree relevant work experience at senior level, of which at least 3 years should be at a section manager level
Preferable candidates specializing in finance, accounting and tax
Good finance modeling skill
Candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Relevant working experience in a US MNC with good working knowledge of SOX laws and procedures preferred
Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Mature, pro-active, independent and full of drive
Good presentation, report-writing and analytical skills
Good computer skills, with practical knowledge of Windows and Windows based applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Hands-on knowledge in PeopleSoft would be a plus
Team player with a high-level of integrity, good communication and interpersonal skills
· A good working knowledge in English is a must
