Obridge Academy Blackboard Developer/Administrator/软件工程师

Obridge Academy seeks to hire a full time Blackboard developer to manage, administer, maintain and support the Obridge Academy Learning Management System. The developer should have all of the following skills and/or certifications:


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Blackboard Administrator Certification
2. Installation & Configuration of the Blackboard System
3. Maintain Blackboard Environment (application & database)
4. Identify & troubleshoot performance issues
5. Intermediate knowledge of Oracle administration
6. Intermediate Linux/Unix server administration skills
7. Build courses in Blackboard
8. Understanding of the roles, security, and user administration
9. Differentiate between System, Institution, and Course Roles
10. Activate/Deactivate System-wide Tools and Utilities
11. Establish a Default Institution Brand
12. Perform Timely User and Course Maintenance
13. Install, Activate, and Manage Blackboard Building Blocks
14. Access and Interpret System Reports
15. Establish Default Course Tools and Settings
16. Navigate the Behind the Blackboard site to Issue Support Tickets and Locate Resources
17. Create reports and collect data & quality measures
18. Understand Library & e-Reserves, Learning Object Catalog & Workflows
19. Familiar with behind the blackboard resources
20. Create, manage, and deploy assignments, tests, question pools and sets
21. Manage all aspects of grading
22. Develop blog/wiki/journal content
23. Build and load courses
24. Familiar with SCORM & import/export courses from various sources
25. Web developer background a plus


Education and Experience:

1. Blackboard Administrator Certification
2. Minimum 3 years experience in higher education.
3. Bachelor's degree in technology-related field or 4 years of additional relevant work experience.
4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role administering Blackboard
5. Understanding of instructional design principles, adult teaching and learning theories.
6. Previous experience in programming in ASP.NET or PHP/Perl environment.
7. Experience in systems analysis as it relates to troubleshooting learning management systems or portal technologies.
8. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
9. Must have strong organizational and planning skills, the ability to self-prioritize and balance multiple tasks and assignments concurrently, consistently meeting deadlines and due dates.
10. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft products and multiple web browsers.
