Job description:

The ideal candidate:

1) Accomplishes human resource objectives by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees under her/his supervision; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer--service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.

1) Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a long term and short term budgets; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.

2) Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Requirements on proper candidate:

1) Proven track record in organizing the shipments of project cargo in China market (with emphasize on containerized as well as over dimensional and heavy cargo), ideally in freight forwarding company environment.

2) Proven organization and negotiation skills

3) Solid knowledge of China transport market

4) Strong communication and interpersonal skills

5) Very good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

6) Keen focus on results, performance, accountability and continuous improvement

1) Capability of successfully and efficiently leading customer service and transport coordination team
