职位描述

JOB PURPOSE:


The Business Finance Leader is aspiring to the finance excellence in the organization by being the guardian of ethics and integrity, a trusted advisor, champion of growth and value, developer of talent.


Focusing on the finance excellence, Business Finance Leader will act as the primary financial business partner to the Regional GMs and work with other APAC finance functions to optimize the business financial support while striving for efficiency.


He/She will provide financial leadership in developing the Writing and Consumer segments across the APAC region, control the P&L for the respective businesses in the region as well as control / influence the Balance Sheet of the business.


He/She will ensure optimal deployment of company assets to drive growth and shareholder value, in particular return on investment in innovation/new product development, drive best cost, control investment in brand equity, deployment of sales force and commercial agreements.



Control Delivery of Financial Results

·Act as primary finance partner to the Regional VP/GMs partnering with Global Segments business and finance leads

·Help the segments with the definition of the strategy for the region

·Develop the strategy financials in line with the segments vision.

·Provide budget guidance on the new products introduction timing, sales potential, cost and investment.

·Establish targets on Sales and Gross Margin using the SCOGs and productivity info

·Prepare the central marketing and other segment budgets and contribute in setting the segments regional OI target

·Coordinate the yearly budget and monthly estimates process on NS, GM , GM% and selling A&P expenses across the regions in line with guidelines

·Follow the market environment regarding consumer spending forecast, currency exchange, competitor performance etc

·Proactively work on the improvement of forecast accuracy and S&OP improvement,


Driving best cost achievement

·Control delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results of the segments in APAC. Identify and implement initiatives to improve profitability, as well as identify investment opportunities and business risks

·Monitor sales, GM, selling, channel marketing and A&P budgets, and in particular, by providing cost center reports for the budget owners and ensuring a periodic forecast update

·Together with Marketing drive the annual pricing implementation

·Perform competitive analysis and drive best cost achievement together with Marketing

·Perform financial evaluation of NPD, brand investments, commercial decisions and post audit its success

·Lead financial analysis in business restructuring and streamlining upon the need (and coordinate with Platform functions when cross segments’ initiatives). Monitor cost improvement and post audit projects.

·Supervise the justification and preparation of segment related expenditure appropriations in accordance with company policies and financial objectives



Project Leadership & Segment Interface

·Create and maintain a strong control environment,

·Proactively support the implementation of system automations to drive timely and appropriate analyses that support business decisions,

·Support IT development and - while relying on the reporting package provided by the central BP&A - lead the development of appropriate reporting tools specific for the segments financial management

·Actively participate in the APAC finance leadership team and other APAC projects

·Be the coordination central point of contact for Global Segment VP finance for APAC

·Provide support to segment leaders with financial analysis in overall P&L, Working Capital and Cash Flow management and in areas as marketing, business restructuring, business transformation.

·Co-ordinate accurate completion and communication of segment specific APAC RAR’s CAR’s and OAR’s, as required to obtain spend authorisation.


Cross Functional Expertise

·Identify and monitor of currency exposures,

·Collaborate with other finance functions, maintain appropriate documentation on judgmental reserves,

·Assist the overall finance team with financial duties when required (income tax projections, hedging…)

·Support other function with financial compliance (SOX, audits…)

·Identify and advocate synergies in the in finance function (centralization to accounting etc…) to improve cost and drive efficiency

·Coordinate closing activities with the accounting

·Take active part of the APAC financial community

·Strong process orientation



Qualifications

· Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent.

· 10+ years relevant experience in Accounting / Finance / Strategic Leadership

· Operational and Business Finance exposure

· Organizational agility and Matrix management skills.

· Excellent communication skills including business writing, presentation and influencing skills.

· People leadership and team building (Including ability to manage remotely).

· Planning and Coordination across multiple projects and initiatives.

· Flexible with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.

· Initiative and Problem Solving dexterity.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· US GAAP
