Responsibilities:

• The
  Pre-Sales Consultant’s primary role is to deliver the business and technical
  features of the product, with the core objective of successfully supporting the
  sales organization. This includes the following tasks:
• Deliver
  sales presentations and solution demonstrations, and provide coverage at annual
  trade shows and client events
• Pre-Sales
  engagement support: Provide pre-sales support with regards to the Front Arena
  Treasury on all levels around specifically assigned pre-sales engagements
• Communicate
  with product management regarding prospect enhancement requirements
• Support
  prospects through all aspects of product evaluations including maintenance of
  the demonstration environments
• Provide
  technical expertise in the pre-sales process in collaboration with sales team
• Identify
  and qualify clients’ business and functional requirements in order to obtain
  initial project estimates, identify solution gaps after gathering clients’
  requirements and communicate back to product management
• Respond
  to RFI’s / RFP / client queries in a timely and professional manner
• Develop
  new business opportunities across SunGard segments, join other business unit
  for comprehensive demonstrations and interface with the product management,
  professional services, support and development organizations
• As a
  market expert, be aware of industry trends, drivers and regulatory initiatives;
  understand the competitive offerings and their differentiators in the market,
  read trade and industry journals to keep abreast of industry thoughts and
  initiatives.

Essential
Experience Required:

At least
5 year functional experience coming either from:

-
the
Front Office / Middle Office department in a leading financial organisation in
China or

-
software
vendor pre sales presentations to banks and financial institutions in Mainland
China

• Thorough
  understanding of the Treasury market in Mainland China is a must – across Front
  Office, Middle Office (risk management, trade lifecycle etc) to Operations
• Deep
  exposure to OTC products is a must; preferably plain vanilla off-balance sheet
  derivatives like IRS, OTC Equity Options, Commodity linked products
• Exposure
  to physical securities investment markets is an advantage, but not a
  pre-requisite

Essential
Skills Required:

• Fluent
  in Mandarin with very good English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong
  Microsoft Office skills including MS-Excel, MS-Word
• Programming
  background in C++, Python or VBA is an advantage, but not a pre-requis
