Main aim of job:

1. Manage all the functions and operations in warehouse (incl. external warehouses) and other possible physical goods movements in order to ensure the stock accuracy, cost efficiency and smoothly operation;

2. Be responsible for the domestic forwarder's performance;

3. Deal with the customers' complaints due to warehousing and transportation issue.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Warehousing:

* Ensure smooth Goods Receiving.

* Ensure on time deliveries to customers for both normal orders and spare parts orders with right qty;

* Ensure the stock accuracy for both production and non-production goods;

* Be responsible for the monthly and yearly stock take and control the discrepancy under the target 0.5%;

* Ensure proper co-ordination with LSP for warehousing;

* Ensure the billings from the LSP are correct;

* Be responsible for consignment warehouse performance;

* Co-ordinate in the process improvement or implementation;

* Co-ordinate in the achieving the certificate of TS or ISO.

2. Transportation:

* Be the contact person for the LSP for outbound goods, evaluating vendor's performance.

* Be responsible for the transportation quality and deal with the complaint caused by damage or shortage.

* Define measures for improvements.

* Ensure the correct billing from the LSP

* Make sure returnable packages can be returned on time with good condition.

* Make sure all returned parts can be returned on time.

3. Hazardous waste management

* Be a member of this team, managing warehouse related issues, such storage of grease barrels; management of forklifts;

* Attend the environmental audit whenever there is and following the findings.

4. Personnel Management

* Responsible for the operators management (ca. 25 employees), e.g. attendance, performance evaluation;

* Headcount planning for operators;

* Recruitment of operators.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree and preferrably majored in logistic / business administration / warehousing;

2. At least 8 years of experiences in logistics field, 3 years or more are with managerial role & responsibility; 3 years experience of managing shop floor operators;

3. Experience of managing LSP incl. warehousing, transportation;

4. Be familiar with logistic features of automotive industry;

5. Expertise and skill in SAP (WM module especially)and MS-office software;

6. Knowledge and experience of Lean Production System, Kanban, VMI, JIT etc;

7. Excellent communication skills, incl. with the operators and foreigners.
