New product development(i) Collect information from sales, market and customers, and propose new product development ideas;
(ii) Review the product patents, conduct feasibility study, prepare related document and present in some cases;
(iii) Communicate the design principles to designers after the project team set up and review the design result; in some cases, take on design reponsibility and complete the rough sketches of items to be designed, either conventionally or with CAD equipment, usually in multi-view fashion;
(iv) Develop testing procedure, draft testing plan and follow up testing schedule;
in order to meet targeted new product development timeline, spending and quality.

Project management
Prepare and monitor project(small to medium size) schedule, update project progress (including cost to PAC), and drive overall project to successful achievement of the goal for R&D lead projects in order to meet targeted project timeline, spending and quality.

Technical support
(i) Review the request from Sales, Production and PM, evaluate if any further action needed and provide recommendation or poposal on action plan
(ii) Provide support and coordination to oversea projects
(iii) Provide model request to model maker
in order to ensure effective resolution of R&D related issues and customer satisfaction with TOSP's products and services

Conduct product/process improvement (as feasibility research, target setting, design, testing, document drafting and presentation) or lead small to medium improvement projects by analyzing the current status from multi-resources in order to improve the product quality and operating process efficiency.

Innovation & IP
Search for related patents in the initial stage of projects; evaluate the potential patent opportunity during project process; prepare patent document (PID) and review the document revised by third party in order to file more IP for TOSP's products.

Product specification
Draft system specification for new products; and revise/update existing product specifications in order to ensure the product specifications are prepared/updated on time.

Bachelor degree in mechanical/ telecommunication/ electro mechanical
3 years working experiences related with mechanical/ telecommunication/ electro mechanical, including 2 year design engineer experience.

Familiar with CAD tool, innovative, self-motivated, strong communication skills, problem solving ability
