The Printing and Personal Systems Organization (PPS) focuses on supplying simple, reliable and affordable printing and personal-computing solutions and devices for home and business use – everything from printers, scanners, copiers, desktop and notebooks PCs, tablets, workstations, thin clients and personal devices.


As part of HP PPS Applications and Services Group (ASG), the Worldwide Product Management and Partner Deployment department is focused on developing Software solutions & applications as well as driving partnerships via innovative business models, with major & non-major players in the internet services businesses and PC client Software businesses. Thanks to these numerous strategic partnerships, HP captures additional revenue streams over the life of the PC Consumer & Commercial products.


The Apps and Partner Deployment Manager position is based in Beijing in China close to PPS China management. This position reports to the Manager of the Global Apps and Partner Deployment Team within ASG. This team is responsible for deploying HP Apps as well as Apps from Partners for different categories of Services (Cloud Services, e-commerce, Security, entertainment, Video, Photo, Music, on line shopping, education services, etc…) at the Worldwide level and in particular in China. These solutions span across PC Global Business Units including Consumer and Commercial PC's, and Consumer and Commercial Notebooks.




Job description


As a member of the HP PPS Applications and Services Group team in Asia, you will be driving all aspects of Business Development and Apps deployment within the Applications, Software and Services space.


You will be specifically accountable for driving the assessment of PPS China Partnerships needs and strategy, for selecting, negotiating, implementing and managing successfully strategic partnerships for China.


This role will facilitate all necessary connections and coordination between the partners, Marketing, Category leads within PPS China and in the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region. This is a key success factor for ASG as our partnerships and our product mix continue to increase in China. Working with Business Operations, Marketing, Product Marketing, Finance, Legal, R&D, and the rest of the Leadership and management team to ensure that any partnerships and alliances operate to HP's technical specifications and within an agreed upon business model meeting HP financial, legal and TCE objectives. You will also work closely with the category business development teams to ensure smooth integration of all of our applicable business relationships.


Your Duties :
· Work with PPS Strategy and China Sales team to align the Partnership strategy and goals for PPSG China
· Work hand in hand with APJ counterparts to align China strategy and progress with the overall ASG plan especially in Music, Photo, Cloud services, productivity, security & entertainment.
· Drive Market survey and studies on Applications & services to identify new opportunities
· Work with multiple parties to lead in identifying partnering potentials and develop business case based on financial modelling.
·Create and manage the Business Development Pipeline of prospective partners
·Select new Partners and negotiate the contract with a relevant business model satisfying both parties
·Manage existing Worldwide & local partners based in China to deliver solutions to accelerate the fulfilment of contractual goals and exceed revenue targets
·Lead internal marketing teams to deliver high impact marketing programs and promotions to deliver revenue and execute strategic objectives
·Lead a cross-functional team to specify & remove any obstacles to ensure successful program implementation
·Leverage best practices sharing & success stories

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration or Marketing or business/technical field of study


Industry experience


The Apps and Partner Deployment Manager is a senior-level business management position requiring leadership, a thorough understanding of the internet industry and excellent interpersonal skills.


Have strong business acumen
5 to 7 years work experience in the industry in Business Development or Partner Management
Have strong background in Web related relationship marketing
Superior business judgment, complex financial modelling and analytical skills
Strong relationship management skills working with both internal and external customers
Superior communications skills, both written and verbal


The successful candidate must have a proven track record of success in developing and executing on new business strategies in complex business environments

Required skills


· Strong knowledge of the internet trends and mobile applications.
· Contacts and experience working with various web, social or mobile application providers in China
·Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate the work of others against requirements of schedule and quality
·Ability to work with cross-functional teams
· Ability to work seamlessly and with high level of autonomy with remote and offshore teams, especially US-based teams
·Strong analytical skills and familiarity with various ad-based, subscription and other business models prevalent in web and mobile apps
· Adaptable — able to shift activities and direction rapidly as priorities and circumstances demand
·Ability to conduct constructive meetings, produce high quality and effective presentations
·Ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision
·Native from China, fluency in English is absolutely required
