GENERAL SUMMARY
Assist Senior Manager to define action plan to increase CS China market share. Analyze China Automotive Market development trend and support management team figure out accordant strategy. With updates to marketing and sales data on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Provide analytical analysis of sales data and volume trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collect the data of the whole China vehicle production and sales volume by each OEM, Analyze the trend for the past and future 5 years.
2. Collect all the market information of the Products of Cooper, including sales volume; customer feedback; main competitor, etc.
3. Collect the information on the main competitor , including the product type; market share; manufacturing locations; engineering capabilities; development strategies.
4. Analyze the market data and provide the suggestions for the specific products or projects.
5. Analyze the weakness and advantage of Cooper Standard products in the market and provide the suggestions on the development strategies.
6. Coordinates and maintains - on a monthly basis, AP Net New Business (Including India, China and Korea).
7. Ensure data in Common Data Utility (C.D.U./SDW); Program Descriptions/Platform Descriptions, Product Codes, Business Units and Account Manager Information are accurate.
8. Maintain the Target Opportunities through the New Business Opportunity Matrix (NBOM).
9. Develop and maintain market share reports by OEM and by product for North America in the Market Segmentation file.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. 4 year College/University Degree is required or equivalent experience and 3 – 5 years experience working in forecasting or finance
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
3. Knowledge of AS-400 system is preferred.
4. Prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to teams in other regions and Asian countries
2. Strong data and information collection skills through all the media, newspapers, internet; industry studies; TV; Consultant Company; etc.
3. Strong Analytical skills, can find the clear trend through the market data
4. Ability to work well under pressure.
5. Ability to bring issues to resolution quickly.
6. Must be able to handle a variety of personality traits, from various cultures and backgrounds.
