ABOUT THE JOB
Purpose
Recovery manager in the store is responsible to execute the IKEA recovery & quality processes to prevent the goods getting damaged and recycle the damaged goods. By achieving this IKEA store is a good environmental example in the local community where we operate and presenting IKEA as a low cost company.
Mandate
The Recovery manager is driving the recovery process to work with commercial managers to prevent goods damaged in the store and to manage the goods recycling effective and efficiently in different recovery area, as well as waste management. The Recovery manager is also responsible for the product quality process in the store.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
Recovery process
To manage the Recovery department and secure that all the Recovery areas are staffed during opening hours
To strive to minimise the financial loss of damaged goods in the store and try to maximise the financial recovery by repackaging and moving goods back to stock or assemble, price and sell goods in the AS IS shop
To cooperate with all department managers in sales to minimise the damage of goods and with the Logistics manager to minimise the damage of goods in the Logistics areas
To manage the spare parts stock in the store
To control the risk of fraud in Exchange & Returns by securing that the 4-eye principle is implemented in the interface between Exchange & Returns and Recovery
To manage a team of people that assemble furniture that have a packaging damage and try to sell these in the AS IS shop
To manage the AS IS shop and secure a high commercial level to reach the sales goals of this unit

Quality process
To manage the quality work in the store and secure that the control, reporting and claims process of quality is implemented
To secure that there is Super User for the IT system CASY and that the Sales stop & safety alarm process is implemented according to routines defined by IKEA of Sweden

Waste
To manage the waste sorting process in the whole store to make sure all type of waste are treated or recycled environment friendly according to IKEA policy and local regulation.
