We are actively recruiting for a number of specialist engineers to provide onsite service to premier customer in China by driving productive use and adoption of Microsoft Technologies enabling our largest and most important customers to make the most out of their technology to move their business forward.
Team/ Department Mission
As part of Microsoft Services, the Premier Field Engineering (PFE) Services organization delivers Rapid Onsite Support Services and specialised preventative services such as Health Checks and Workshops to Microsoft Enterprise customers. The PFE engineers help Premier customers to ensure efficient usage of their IT infrastructure. Services delivered by highly skilled engineers with deep technical expertise and have gone though comprehensive accreditation process.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist customer to work out technical architecture for projects
- Core framework coding
- Critical problem resolution
- System Optimization and core system deployment.
- Drive high customer satisfaction in all engagements.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Possesses deep technical expertise in .Net development. Candidates must have rich experience on MOSS development and tuning, system code review etc.
- Knowledge of SharePoint products is required.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills at a Systems Engineer level. Candidates must have 5 years’ experience in technical support within large network environments; have strong customer service and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Good presentation skill
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills in English is preferred
- Face-to-face customer engagement skills.
- Awareness of corporate environments and their business requirements.
Secondary expertise in one or more of the following products are preferred
- SQL Server , IIS, Exchange or AD based development experience.
We are actively looking for candidates to represent Microsoft on client sites. Candidates must have excellent client facing skills with strong personal attributes. Customers are China wide, so travel is an essential part of this role.
