need to assign to Cambodia office & factory for Finishing Supporting,

Job intent (from JPCR):

Manage the finish development activities required to deliver manufacturing ready products for the brands, in-line with aesthetic and innovation goals, sourcing requirements, cost, quality, safety and TOE requirements.

Critical Results (from JPCR):

· Apply knowledge of product sourcing strategies and existing source base to select the appropriate mills/contractors that will meet LS&CO product standards in a timely and cost effective manner.

· Executes timely developments and proactively flags issues that are not in line with testing protocols

· Collaborate with and influence Design in interpreting and translating aesthetic requirements into finish parameters that can provide commercially viable product for mass production.

· Support develop at source activities to ensure final proto is reproducible in bulk (with Branch offices as well)

· Interpret design vision to supply base and shop to find desired finish

· Coordinate in season development requests, works with contractor to achieve design vision

· Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues in proto development

· Create standards/processes/formulas for new proto developments that are shared with production staff

· Finish grids are updated accurately with all appropriate info

· Product quality, product safety and TOE requirements are met.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidate will have preferably 10 years of experience in apparel in fabric/finish development. Essential skills of ability to identify risks and problem solve issues in both development and production

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to collaborate and resolve issues with internal and external team/suppliers

Finish:

Must have experience in formulations, wet & dry processes, chemicals and their application in finish formulation to achieve acceptable garment results that meet Brands requirements

Must have knowledge of finishing SOP requirements in laundry environment

Must have understanding of formulas and target cost

Must have ability to transfer developmental formulation to production environment
