- Management of the HSE department in link with the Quality Manager of the company
- Establish, maintain and update the HSE management system and policies of the company in compliance with the SAFRAN policies, international standards ISO14001&OHSAS18001 and the Chinese regulations
- Survey of the national and international HSE standards and legislation evolutions and updates
- Identify the significant dangers and risks, including environmental aspects, and ensure their follow up through the “risks assessment plan”
- Propose, collect and follow up the HSE corrective and preventive actions
- Manage and/or carry out HSE audits and inspections
- Provide support for the application of the HSE policy to the management and operational personnel
- Launch incident and accidents investigations with the relevant investigation tools
- Develop and conduct the relevant trainings, communication and awareness actions for the company in HSE
- Participate in the development and implementation of the company HSE improvement plans
- Validate with the support of the Purchasing department, the new supplier of PPE
- Evaluate the appropriate consumption rules of the company for PPE
- Define the waste disposal organization of the company in accordance with the HSE standards and cost objectives
- Focus point of the company for the relevant authorities of China and the SAFRAN Group in HSE

Snecma Xinyi Airfoil Castings Co. Ltd., is a joint-venture created between Safran Aircraft Engines, a major entity of the French group SAFRAN and Guizhou Liyang Aerospace Power Co. Ltd. in 2006 with a registered capital of $ 9 million.

Located in Guiyang (Guizhou province), in the heart of the Jinyang Science and Technology Industrial Park and Guiyang High-Tech Industry Development Zone, the plant covers an area of 10,000 square meters, and more than 120 staff work at Safran Aircraft Engines Guiyang. It is a casting facility and it produces low-pressure turbine blades, nozzle guide vanes and low-pressure turbine seals for CFM56 and LEAP aircraft engines, also known as "the most successful engines in commercial aviation history".
