Logistic Manager

You have 3 subordinators who are working in the function of logstic,coordinator supply chain and warehouse. The team is part of Shared Service Center. And you'll directly report to VP Asia. (German)

Responsibility

-Manage the companies supply chain in China

• plan and oversee shipments and deliveries
• track and control material movement
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and transpotation companies
• Oversee stock control and prcessing orders
• ensure quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met
• Manage and control the companies logistic vendors

-Coordinating the use of automated and computerized (ERP) systems

-Keeping stock control systems up to date

-Planning future capacity requirements

-Organizaing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as managing staff performance and progress

-Generating regular reports and statistics on a daiy, weekly and monthly basis

-Define and drive the optimization of the companies supply chain processes and procedures

-Visiting customers to monitor the quality of service they are receving

Requirement

-5~7 years of experience in logistic management

-Fluent in English and Chinese, German is a plus

-People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas

-Initiative and decisiveness, enthusiasm

-Problem-solving skills and ability to work on a tactical and strategic level

-Good planning and organization skills as well as systematic thinking

-Strong numeracy and the ability to understand financial data

-Research skills and the ability to draw information from various sources, including people

-IT skills in general and MS office skills

-Experienced in usage of ERP system(s)

-Clear and concise writing skills and the ability to handle long and complex documents

-Interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills

-Spatial awareness and the ability to work with diagrams

-Flexibility and the ability to work on more than one task at a time under pressure and tight to deadlines
