Responsibilities:
- Develop conceptual requirements into specifications and project plans.
- Design, implement and test new mechanical products.
- Produce schematics, BOMs and control documentation to company requirements.
- Interfacing with and manage key suppliers.
- Take responsibility for managing projects and ensuring their timely completion.
- Test products to satisfy performance and approval requirements.
- Produce documentation and test reports to required standards.
- Support and specify suitable validation and production test equipment.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
- Assist purchasing in assuring the compliance of suppliers with all relevant requirements, including areas such a RoHS compliance and other agency needs.
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
- Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
- Investigate vendors' and competitors' products.
- Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems.
- Investigate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problem and recommend remedial measures.
- Develop budgets, and estimate labor, material, and fabrication costs.
- Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects.
- Collect data relating to consumer, household, medical and sanitaryware mechanics to determine operating efficiency of mechanical system.

Requirements:
- 4 years Mechanical engineering degree, minimum from an accredited College or University.
- Over 5 years of industrial experience in plastic, gear train, nozzle and metal parts design experience. Better be in fluid dynamics, combustion, as well as CFD analysis experience using at least one of the main commercial codes FLUENT, ANSYS-CFX, STAR-CD or CFDRC.
- Experience in home appliance development.
- In depth mechanical engineering knowledge in static equipment, rotating equipment, stress analysis, FEA, thermodynamic, fluid mechanics and related physical sciences.
- In depth knowledge and proficiency with ASME, ANSI, API, CSA and other applicable industry codes and standards.
- Excellent written English.
- PC literate with working knowledge of Lotus Notes, MS office, MS project, AutoCAD, Catia, SmarTeam
