The Accountant/Taxation will be responsible for communicating with local tax bureau; Preparing regular tax return and tax filling reports; Processing tax application for offshore payment; Conducting tax reconciliation for the issued invoices; Coordinating corporate tax filing as per US schedule; Assisting Accounting Manager in initiative relating to taxations and supporting GL processing. Accounting functions in the department include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Reconciliation, Reporting and Taxation.

Key Duties

· Keep good communication with local tax bureau to support daily business and deal with tax issues raised by operation
· Liaison with APA OTC and/or external tax consultant to resolve tax issues related to offshore service fee payment and achieve the most tax effective solution
· Prepare tax returns and tax filings timely as required by local tax bureau for stamp duty, business tax, corporation income tax, etc.
· Timely follow up with FCO to complete withholding IIT filing monthly
· Monthly process the application of non-trade offshore payment to local tax bureau and timely notify inter-company about the withholding tax deducted
· Manage Receipts issued to wholesale dealers for dealer deposits
· Purchase Fapiao from local tax bureau to support Wholesale and Retail business
· Maintain the system for Fapiao issuance and coordinate the upgrades required
· Issue Fapiao to retail dealers and reconcile/control Fapiao amount for retail subvention
· Complete tax reconciliation for Wholesale Fapiao Automatic issuance and support to solve the problems occurred in invoice issuing
· Support annual Transfer Pricing Documentation as per US schedule
· Complete tax related reports as required
· Support to process G/L accounting for all tax activities, incl. tax provision and deferred tax adjustment
· Maintain books of account in a way that accurately represents the transactions and financial condition of the company.
· Implement deferred tax application - OneSource (OTP) system
· Support Tax and Surcharge Refunds
· Support Tax related audits
· Check and Analysis through monthly Journal Entry (JE) review for assigned accounts
· Comply with accounting regulations, tax laws and internal control rules
· Carry out other ad hoc assignments, support or activities as required by the business

Requirements

1.Should have a good understanding of local general accounting principles and knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
2.Should have a good understanding of local tax laws and regulations
3.Need to be self-motivated and a good team player
4.Bachelor's degree with accounting and/or finance major
5.Strong analytical and systematic thinking skills; solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices; Good PC skills; Fluent English (reading and writing).
6.At least 3 years experience in corporate accounting and taxation field (accounting and taxation experience in financial institution is highly preferred). Experience of working in a multi-national firm is preferred. Experienced in working in electronic data processing environment.
