? New product study and acceptance-Work with WMK external sales and customer engineers to fully understand product application and quality acceptance standard negotiate workable die cut product solutions to satisfy customer.
? Quotation Support-fulfill DR1 per sales and customer demand by optimize process design and material utilizations. Maintain lotus database.
? Process Development -develop & define process(es) for New products to facilitate effective and efficient manufacture of Product to meet customer as well as internal performance expectations, to achieve this NPIE should work with Manufacturing Engineers and Process Engineers from production for difficult parts(Class A products) in DR1, DR2 stage.
? Prototype- by work with Prototype Production, NPIE will take full responsibility for all earlier customer prototype quality and OTD demand (FOC Prototypes)..
? NPI Planning - Utilize structured NPI process [ DR1 to DR3 ] to ensure key deliverables are completed effectively and on time
? Documentation - Work closely with Manufacturing & Quality Engineering teams to develop formal Product / Process documentation (e.g. PFP / PFMEA / PCP / Work Instructions / Reports etc)
? _release drawings for production direction, quality inspection and customer acceptance
? _Document all project (production) developing history files,
? _update all IFS Inventory, BOM list, Routings on time.
? Product/Process Verification - Evaluate & optimize process performance
- Conduct capability studies on customer key product characteristics as well as key process related characteristics
- Verify product can consistently meet customer specification and prescribed test conditions & visual acceptance criteria
- Utilising PVR/SPVR Trials - Evaluate/Verify that process meets planned waste/yield/cycle rate performance expectations
- Work closely with Site team to evaluate Overall Capacity impact related to Specific New Project volumes inclusion.
Product Process Release - Support / direct Production teams during Pre Production runs thru to Production Release and Volume Ramp. Review Planned versus Actual performance. Gate Reviews/ DR reviews
? Skills Transfer - Support transfer of knowledge and training to operational teams. Provide formal handover of process requirements for new products to Manufacturing Engineering team
? Project Communication - Provide regular status updates for assigned projects as well as timely feedback for specific issues that may present risk to project / product performance
? Project KPIs - As part of NPI Project team will be responsible for meeting Project specific KPIs' ( e.g. Projects On Time; Product meets Technical requirements; Product meets internal waste/yield/cycle time goals.)
