Job Descriptions:

    

Daily tasks for researcher scientist are to use AI and big data techniques to analyze observational data collected from sensors, logs, and business processes to produce insights. Dependent on the business cases, insights can range from anomaly detection, correlation analysis, root cause analysis, predictive analysis and forecasting. The insights will be used to solve high impact real world problems through predictive maintenance, operation optimization, recommendation, etc.

    

The candidate shall Identify business problems in IoT space, translate business paint points into problem statement and propose a data-driven solution by making use of data collected from real world. The candidate shall have hands-on experience in handling big data (volume, velocity, variety and veracity) and have experience with relevant Machine Learning and data analytics tools. He/She will be working closely with IoT engineering team and subject matter experts to develop, design, implement and test the AI solutions based on customers’ needs and requirements.

    

NCS Corporate Labs reinvent the future in collaboration with academic, government, and industry researchers. NCS Corporate Labs consist of NCS corporate research team, Singtel Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence Lab for Enterprises (SCALE@NTU), and joint research labs with A*Star research institutes. The candidate will be working together with SCALE@NTU researchers, participate IP commercialization process and contribute in IP translation from research into production.

    

Job Requirements:

    

We have multiple job openings for scientists at all levels in NCS Corporate Labs. Candidates ideally have experience in several of the following areas and be eager to learn.

• Expected Experience: 2+ years of experience in related field.
• Education background/ experience required: B.Eng. and above in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering. Mater and Ph.D. are preferred.
• Specific Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in Python, Java, C, or C++ Programming languages
• Proficient in Machine Learning and Deep Learning platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Experienced in in big data systems such as Elasticsearch, Hadoop.
• Experienced in software architecture, design, and implementation, cloud computing and docker container.
• Familiar with Linux OS in addition to Windows.
• Able to work cooperatively with cross-functional team.
