Job Description：

Develop electric drive axle (eAxle) for commercial vehicle, specifically a rigid eAxle adapted from conventional CV axle and integrated with gearbox and electric motor.

·        Requirements deployment and analysis of eAxle focusing on integration.

·        Structure design focusing on mechanical integration of electric motor and gearbox into existing CV axle,

·        Design and development of axle housing, internal transmission coupling with gearbox

·        Definition and selection of axle transmission gear set, differential, bearing, lubrication, sealing method etc, ensuring high efficiency, good NVH and reliability, meanwhile can be manufactured/ sourced meet cost target

·        Follow company product development process and apply Product Engineering methodology e.g. Focus matrix, DRBFM, etc

·        Communication the design with production for industrialization analysis in early phase and coordinating the samples.

·        Release design through verifications e.g. CAE analysis of fatigue, sealing, modal, transmission efficiency, etc and validations e.g. endurance tests, NVH tests, etc. Prepare related documentations for release e.g. Drawings, specifications, FMEA, SC, etc.

·        Technical support for manufacture related issues

·        Other tasks arranged by management

Qulifications：

·        Master degree or above

·        Working experience e.g. >2 years on CV axle design and development, familiar with axial related industrial standards and product development process

·        Expertise with design software CAD/ ProE/Solidworks etc; familiar with simulation tools e.g Ansys, MASTA/ Romax, CFD etc.

·        Knowledge on electric powertrain e.g. inverter, electric motor, gearbox, as well as fuel cell are preferred

·        Fluent in English both spoken and written, German skill is a plus

·        Trust, accountable, structure thinking, fast learning, good at communication, team spirit and flexible
