The Project Manager is responsible for implementing of electrochemical deposition (ECD) and physical vacuum deposition (PVD) project management for ASM NEXX customers in China. This job requires strong communication and project management skills as well as with the understanding of ECD and PVD fundamentals.

The current position is located in Chongqing, China

 

Responsibilities:  

• Communicate with ASM NEXX and Cooperate management team at customer site: Managers, Global Supply Manager, Engineering Manager, Group Leader to discuss and align business direction, to follow up action items for different projects.

• Regularly meet with customers and end customers on the project status and equipment performance update.

• Perform new tool installation milestone and machine performance status tracking & follow up: provide timely update on regular basis, & heads up alert to supply center and the key persons in charge.

• Perform resources planning & tracking: Communicate with our Field Service Engineer (FSE) leaders and process engineers on task assignment, manpower arrangement, people development, production line status update, & technical support when needed.

• Manage project milestones, logistics and work with stakeholders on the project plan and follow up

• Report outstanding issues and provide technical advice to ASM NEXX headquarter on machine quality, process and software issues.

• Coordinate sales, field process, service engineers and supporting teams in ASM NEXX headquarter to set priority of action items and communicate project progress to customers.

• Coordinate with Field Service, process and software groups to escalate problems in the field to ASM NEXX factory resources and ensure close-out of outstanding issues

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science or relating engineering fields.

• 8-10 years working experience of project management, engineering or relevant experience in Semiconductor industry.

• Demonstrated strong communication skill in English and Chinese (both speaking and writing)

• Excellent interpersonal skills. 

• Proactive and able to work independently.

• Up to 30% travel with short notice (domestic and oversea).
