Position Summary:
This position is a team member of Talent Management & Org. Development Center of Excellence (TMOD COE) in China and reports to TMOD Director, China. He/She will assess, identify and plan organization changes, design talent development strategies and drive the implementation of programs that aim to attract, develop, retain, measure and actively manage our organization's talent within population in scope.
Key responsibilities include
-Partners with HR leaders in assigned Group/divisions/functions in China to initiate and deliver Talent Management strategy and solutions in line with business objectives, challenges and country TMOD strategy
-Works with HRBPs to build organisational capability, with a focus on key talents and critical roles
-Identifies talent challenges to drive business growth in assigned Group/divisions/functions and partners with HRBPs, other TMOD members, as well as external resources when necessary, to develop talent solutions which deliver measurable impact on the broad business strategy
-Manages organization and talent review processes in assigned divisions/functions. Designs, develops, implements and evaluates leadership capability building and talent development programs to enhance leadership capability and bench strength
-Manages the implementation of China country wide talent & leadership development project/program per assigned
-Develops relevant Early Talent approach and programs in China per partnership with leaders, HRBPs and TA team, be the program manager of assigned future talent program whole life cycle in on to build up strong future pipeline in relevant functions
-Managers all talent management metrics work, talent pool management and data consolidation at country level, providing the organization with current and comprehensive view of our talents
-Acts as a member of China HR team, contributing to its impact through expert advice and relevant solutions
-Any other responsibilities might be assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree is required. Degree holder in HRM, Organization Development/industrial psychology or relevant disciplines is preferred.
-A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in sizable MNCs
- HR function with at least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing programs in organizational effectiveness, talent planning, talent management and development, leadership development, organizational intervention or other areas aimed at strategically improving the performance of an organization and its employees. Preferably have consulting experiences.
-Experience in a fast pace & global matrixed environment a plus
-Thorough knowledge of theories, concepts and practices of organizational development
-Track record in initiating and executing Talent Management strategies and programs (such as build talent pools, build succession pools, have a plan for critical roles, build success profiles, develop & manage early talent program, short-term assignment, job swaps/rotation, etc.)
-Strong project management skills. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Fast learner and result-oriented and sense of urgency.
-Customer-focus and collaborative mindset
-Must be a problem solver and be able to work independently
-Excellent written, oral and positive influential interpersonal skills required
-Proficiency in Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Be good at using Power BI
