Specific responsibilities:

• To promote Patient SafetyNet sales in China. Responsible for coordination and installation of the company's network based central monitoring and paging systems using LAN/WAN, WLAN and VLAN topologies in various hospital environments.

• Plans and implements the installation of networked based systems, including configuring, supporting/troubleshooting system problems, coordinating with Masimo, OEM partners, vendors or hospital staff (nursing, doctors, maintenance, IT and biomedical) on the installation of all component items including such items as brackets, cables, routers, access points, bridges, and switches.

• Performs wireless site surveys, and WLAN and LAN performance evaluations based on company methodology.

• Provides entire supplied system technical expertise and participates in technical training.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills requiring the ability to solve multifaceted problems.

• Assists with product sales and proposals as requested.

• Trains the MCH technical support staff to increase customer support abilities.

• Functions as a primary resource to the Tech Support team for systems needs.

• Ability to communicate with all levels of hospital administration and Masimo cross-functional teams

• Contribute to overall project and implementation process improvement

• Maintain and support all information store databases.

• Create and maintain information reports for all business units.

• Implement automation of information reports and alerts.

• Monitor database program performance to detect errors; apply testing procedures/methodologies (i.e., diagnostic software) and provide interpretation of data.

• Provide input during client strategic planning (as required) as part of technical expertise.

• Responsible for the system data models for MSSQL.

• Responsible for client data conversions.

• Maintain database security roles and rights.

• Maintain in-house databases, including backup and restore.

   

  Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree

• 3+ years Enterprise Network experience

• Medical or biomedical experience preferred

   

  Desired Training and Experience Required:

• Working knowledge of China-specific wireless regulations and requirements.

• Extensive knowledge of networking using TCP/IP protocol in Enterprise environment

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent

• In depth understanding of networking terms and concepts

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Vista, and Windows 7, UNIX (Solaris) and Linux operating systems

• Excellent networked systems troubleshooting skills

• Working knowledge of VPN configurations and use

• Working knowledge of basic engineering principles, electronics, and design

• Established self-starter with excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong ‘hands-on’ skills, with ability to perform detail-oriented work with high degree of accuracy

• Excellent multi-tasking capabilities

• Excellent, effective oral and written communication skills

• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Understanding of medical terms and concepts preferred.

• Experience working in hospital environments preferred.

• Ability to communicate the technical related correspondence by verbal and e-mail base in English with Irvine personnel.

• Proficiency using personal computers and associated work station/computer-assisted tools, etc.

• Strong customer support skills.
