The role of a R&D Controller is to manage the controlling of a R&D Site or Region, engineering, prototypes, and tooling costs, in order to guarantee and optimise the R&D financial performance and competitiveness. The main missions of the role are to:

 

？     Ensure all financial related procedures compliance

o   Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies

o   Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia finance related procedures, and 9 internal control basics

 

？     Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management

o   Lead all forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, …)

o   Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance

o   Ensure reliability of hourly rates

o   Provide all necessary controlling analysis including variance analysis, R&D Site budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring

o   Collaborate with Program Controlling teams, obtaining/providing/validating proper information

o   Collaborate with obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information

o   Control and manage the site’s operating cash flow (capex, working capital)

o   Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors

 

？     Act as a business partner toward the engeneering community, and provide recommandation to the management

o   Propose, to the management action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operationnal targets (especially regarding costs, workload,…)

o   Identify and optimize external subsidies relative to research activities

o   Share with program controller for different subjects (RFQA, IBP, Monthly Result)

o   Follow finance impact of action plans

o   Ensure financial awareness of engineering operational teams

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have/be:

？      or Engineering background with a Finance degree or Masters degree in Finance

？     3 to 5 years of professional experience, according to the size and complexity of the site, including a first controlling experience

？     Good accounting knowledge

？     Business minded and strong teamwork sens

？     Good communication skills

？     Fluent in English required
