Job Title: Senior V&V Chemist
Reports To: V&V Manager
Group/Division: China Innovation Center
Division/Business Unit Summary:

Position Summary:
The senior R&D DVV Chemist will be responsible for assuring design quality of new product introduction (NPI) meeting the defined design inputs and user needs thru all-sided and challenged design verification and design validation and drive the continuous improvement of verification and validation process effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage master verification and validation plan on each design project dynamically
-Design verification/validation test and deliver V&V plan, method, protocol and report on the course of new product development.
-Lead development team to understand the applications, user needs and user environments and
-Support user needs clarification, product requirements definition and make user needs and product requirements measurable.
-Work with the design team closely to solve feasibility issues related with application on prototyping phase prior to detail design.
-Lead the training and guidance of junior staff
may review and approve juniors work
-Develop design verification and validation process or good practice to meet requirements of the product develop process. Keep verification and validation process effectiveness in compliance with applicable regulations and standard and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications Required:
-Master or higher in analytical chemistry or similar.
-5+ year experience leading NPD design verification and validation process or similar test and application process.
-Expertise on design verification and validation process required in regulated industry.
-Application expertize on the industry of analytical instrumentation and laboratory equipment.
-Statistic skills to design test and lead data analysis and judge test sample size rationale.
-Outstanding communication skills both in Chinese and English with capability to effectively communicate across different areas of functional expertise
-Strong influence skill and experiences in the matrix working environment with stakeholders who are based in China, USA, and Europe.
-Experienced of engineering reliability and hands on to lead design for reliability and reliability testing is a plus.
-Be familiar with domestic or international certification program, such as NRTL, CE, CB, China CPA/CCEP approvals is a plus.
