JOB POSITION

    

    

The system administrator will be a member of the IT Operations team that manages network, systems, SAP basis and security operations. Overall, he will contribute to ensure business continuity of ARaymond information system, focusing primarily on system infrastructure operations and continuous improvement.

    

    

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    

    

Operations

• Manage daily operations and support including incident and problem management on servers
• Perform servers and services installations and upgrades through change management
• Support our business on a daily basis (local solutions and/or specific needs or projects)
• Participate to the support rotation duty (e.g daily checks, backup management) and be on call regularly

                    

    

Continuous improvement

• Contribute to define technical standard, improve support processes
• Define operational procedures
• Ensure availability and performance of our services/systems, propose and implement technical improvements
• Automate support tasks

                    

    

Technical expertise

• Bring technical expertise by being an active contributor of our technology related subject matter workgroups (in charge of defining the technology roadmap and initiative pipeline)
• Work closely with the design teams to introduce and integrate new services/systems when needed. Ensure proper hand over to operations.

            

    

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    

    

Bachelor Degree with at least 3 to 5 years in IT

    

Significant experience in system and server administration

    

Knowledge and experience in AWS and Azure operations is a strong advantage

    

Basic knowledge in network administration

    

    

SKILLS REQUIRED

    

• Self-starter attitude and proactive approach
• Autonomy to define priorities and lead several activities in parallel
• Ability to work collaboratively within the team or with other teams (such as Service-desk, local support, application support) in a global and multi-cultural organization
• Open to travel to other subsidiaries if required

                    

    

• Advanced technical knowledge in:
• Operating systems (Suse Linux, Microsoft Windows)
• Virtualization technologies (VMware)
• Shared storage (SAN, NAS)
• Automation (scripting, imaging, deployment, management)
• Backup solutions and administration

                            

• Technical knowledge in the below would be a plus:
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Database administration (Hana, Postgres, SQL, Oracle…)
• Web server administration (IIS, Apache…)
