l  Responsible for graphic layout by following the template and instruction from PDX graphic team/Brand. Checks graphic design files from PDX DC.

l  Assists in the coordination and generation of packaging prototypes in support of sales and global operations, including graphics, structural and illustration requirements, using internal and external resources

l  Assists with the preparation of mock-ups and 3-D presentations for customer review. Support development of technical presentations including structural design elements, distribution analysis, and cost & feasibility studies.

l  Assists in the preparation of art for manufacturing to include all areas of pre-press responsibilities. Also to support project implementation on press check and color management.

l  Conducts color management by using EFI software and G7 system, ensures color consistent with standards.

l  Works with Asia structural design team on data checking and design adjustment.

l  Responsible for pre-press graphic design solution: printing material, process and printing requirements.

l  Maintains database of available packaging and printing materials. Coordinate packaging sample receipt and first line analysis of structural and graphic components of current packaging for target customers. Maintain sample library of substrates, print options and finishes.

l  Updates global graphic files database by uploading approved finial files to the shared folder.

l  Assist in the coordination of technical graphic design with strategic printers and packaging converters in markets worldwide. Assist in data transfer of files and specifications for global implementation.

l  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

l  3 year degree in Graphic Design, Printing Technology or related field

l  3 to 5 years of experience with production art and prepress with a demonstrated good design sense and creative thinking skills.

l  Exposure to the packaging industry and a general understanding of the multi-facetted function requirements to get product produced, packaged, distributed, and presented to the consumer

l  Technical skills include: Intermediate knowledge of Adobe creative suite, basic knowledge of Mac OS, advance knowledge of G7 and EFI for color management and a working knowledge of Artois CAD, ESKO Studio Designer and Microsoft Office.

l  Basic understanding of corrugated and/or folding carton graphic design, production, and product development

l  Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and local language.

l  Good interpersonal skills with an intercultural customer service focus

l  Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment

l  Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

l  Ability to sit for extended periods of time, periodic bending, twisting, and applying a negligible amount of force to lift or carry objects
