Position
FCM Compliance Manager
Department
Health, Environmental & Regulatory Services (HERS)
Overview
? We are looking for a Food Contact Materials Compliance Team Leader to join our growing consulting business.
? This role will be based in Shanghai.
? This leadership positions requires significant learning agility, work style flexibility, and relationship management skills in addition to deep technical expertise.
Responsibilities
? Build & lead Food Contact Materials regulatory team in China with experts and ensure that people are competent to do the job well
? Work with team and carry out duties incl. FCM compliance and petition/registration of food contact materials in China and other Asia countries e.g. Japan &Korea
? Work closely with Global teams on global food contact compliance and notification especially for US and EU regions such as US FCN (food contact notification).
? Work with industrial clients and support on projects with professional expertise
? Liaison with authorities, associations and deliver speeches on behalf of company
? Provide internal training and technical support during business development and marketing activities
Requirements
? Master’s degree or above in analytical chemistry, chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology etc.
? 5-8 years’ experience of regulatory experiences
? Deep knowledge of China FCM regulatory requirements and hands on experience of China petition is essential
? Experience in food contact testing lab or chemical analytical lab and related knowledges are highly preferred
? Knowledge of chemicals risk assessment is an advantage
? Knowledge of chemical regulatory experiences is an advantage
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as external stakeholders and partners.
? Leadership skills with the ability to influence and obtain results.
? Ability to work independently, in a dynamic, fast-paced matrix organization.
? People development and coaching.
