Major Responsibilities:

• Familiar with packaging supplier development process, and evaluate supplier performance periodically, and familiar with ISO requirement
• Review purchasing status, and sourcing and developing new resource to meet company business growing;
• Carry out on-site annual audit/qualification audit together with Compliance/QA team;
• Establish supplier data base and keep improving current supplier chain
• Periodically study packaging industry, and attend related industry fair to provide and phase in new supplier as per the business requirement
• Establish good relationship with current and new suppliers and assist other Dept. on daily communication and compliant handling
• Monitor marketing pricing fluctuation of paper material monthly, and experienced in costing tools, negotiation skills and costing down method.
• Reply RFQ timely from PM or Sales Dept, and provide costing estimates if required;
• Attend project kick-off/weekly update meeting;
• Provide paper board samples and track the testing result from Implementation;
• Periodically review PO pricing and carry out pricing negotiation to meet company margin target;
• T&C review and negotiation with suppliers;
• Contract review and follow up signing status with company Legal/suppliers;
• Setup account for new supplier and follow up related abnormity from suppliers;
• Coordinate between suppliers and Sales / Project Management / CSR teams for on-time delivery of materials. Maintain close working relationships with all internal departments to ensure efficiency and objectives are met.
• Coordinate with local Sales, Technical and QA team for all quality issues and claim assessment, work together to develop resolution.
• As the senior staff, provide guidance and mentorship to help team members to grow. Assist to train new hires on work processes and procedures. Proactively share and transfer knowledge within and outside of sourcing team.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Essential Requirements:

• Four years of degree education with 5+ years working experience in supply chain management or sourcing in paper, printing, or packaging industry.
• In-depth understanding of costing of packaging material/products; Good at pricing negotiations;
• Proven ability in new supplier development and dual sourcing strategy implementation;
• Good knowledge in supplier management; Excellent execution ability on sourcing strategy;
• Proven ability to clearly and effectively communicate both in writing and in person.  Good relationship development and maintenance skills with suppliers and all teams within BillerudKorsnas.
• Good English both in written and spoken. 
• Excellent interpersonal and decision making skills with proven ability to analyze problems independently, develop solutions and present solutions for final approval.
• Proven ability to multi task and prioritize responsibilities.  Must possess the ability to manage workload in a fast paced environment with competing demands and shifting priorities without compromising quality of work product.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Proven ability to collect and perform data analysis.  Capable of manipulating data quickly and presenting it in a comprehensible report. 
• Must be assertive and tactful while persuading global team members to act in a timely fashion. Not afraid to hold others accountable. Must have demonstrated strong conflict resolution skills.
• Have strong team work spirit;
• Excellent PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Good at presentation;
• Able to make factory visits frequently based on business needs
