Job Purpose

For one thing, the role is to increase band awareness and reputation of Badanamu. For another, it will oversee and drive the licensing business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set and execute a long-term business development strategy for categories in charge, taking into account regional opportunities and specificities

2. Lead and build annual targets for CP business. Provide quarterly business forecasts to evaluate progress against budget. Highlight any upsides or sensitivities

3. Work with internal and external partners to manage licensees and achieve annual forecasts

4. Develop sub-category strategy and build licensee base for each sub-category

5. Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of licensees to grow the CP business. Critically evaluate the licensee base to ensure we have the right number of and best quality partners

6. Work with the creative team and licensees to develop compelling products

7. Help licensees penetrate in retail channel, and join seasonal promotion programs to support licensing business

8. Build, manage and mentor a high-performing team to meet evolving organizational needs

Academic / Professional Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above

Work Experience

1. Ideally 5 years’ working experience in relevant industry, marketing department in a major multi-national company or an advertising/marketing agency, preferably with B2B sales experiences

2. Current network of strong relationships with licensees, distributors and retailers within the territory

Required Competencies

1. Proven track record of delivering growth and solid analytical/financial skills

2. Proven pitching and negotiating skills with the ability to close deals

3. Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and take charge

4. Strong people person able to influence others

5. Ability to customize / create sales presentations and other materials as needed

6. Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
