Working time:7*24 shiftwork
Job Requirements (skills/experience/language skills)
Technical Skills:
- AIX(or other Unix) system administration
- Oracle(or DB2, SQL server) DB management
- SAP Basis
Non-Technical Skills:
- Good interpersonal communication skill (Must)
- Good at Oral and Written English communication (Must)
- Good spirit of Client focus
- Could accept to work on night shift
Job Responsibilities
1. SAP Helpdesk
- The first contact point of customer
- Solicit the problem information and customer's requirement
- Provide solution if in place or escalate to next level support
2.SAP Basis Support Services
- Monitor BASIS related problems as reflected in SAP logs (e.g. ST22, SM21, developer traces)
- Monitor R/3 Logon load balancing
- Monitor SAP performance buffers
- Update SAP technical procedure/process
- Manage OSS access to SAP Production systems
3. SAP Change and Transport Management
- Perform and track SAP transport request
4. SAP Batch Management
- Schedule and monitor BASIS related batch jobs(e.g.Housekeeping)
5. SAP Printing Support
- Monitor R/3 Spool Management
- Administrate standard SAP printers within SAP system (i.e. SPAD)
- Administrate print queues within OS environment
6. SAP Database Support
- Monitor database space management (tablespace/table/index extension)
- Monitor database performance buffers
7. SAP Backup and Recovery Services
- Schedule system, R3 executable files, database and database archive log backups
- Monitor scheduled backups
8. SAP Performance and Capacity Management
- Generate SAP performance and capacity (e.g. SAP workload analysis,database growth) for production system
- Monitor OS level performance and capacity (e.g. CPU, memory and disk utilization)
9. Hyper Alerts Monitoring and Notification
- maintenance sowftware matrix of customer accounts
- monitor & report alerts (e.g. SAP Hotnews, DB2 Hyper APARS, etc)
- monitor & report availability of sowftware patches (e.g. DB2 fixpatch)
