General Summary Statement
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for Interfacing with Legal team and Regulators to capture the compliance requirement in accounting or reporting in time; Communication with all departments to collect data and information for accounting entries or data validation; Performing accounting transactions such as complex journal entries, billings, depreciation schedules, etc. Complete account reconciliation; Assisting and/or perform S-Ox MCRP testing; Performing month-end activities; Training new employees on processes and steps; Recommending and executing process changes / improvements; Performing data mining and analytical work. Accounting functions in the department include: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Reconciliation, Reporting and Taxation.

Key Duties
? Keep good communication with various regulators including but not limit to CBIRC, PBOC, SAFE, Finance Bureau, Statistic Bureau to understand the compliance requirement in accounting and financial reporting.
? Prepare financial reports for PBOC, CBIRC, SAFE, Statistics Bureau and Financial Bureau
? Complying with accounting regulations, tax laws and internal control rules.
? Initial review, input, and analysis through monthly Journal Entry (JE) preparation for assigned accounts
? All business system related accounting for assigned accounts
? Utilize of GTMS to do debt related accounting entries.
? Accounts Receivable: maintain Accounts Receivable detailed sub ledgers including aging of open items, follow-up past due items, prepare JE's and Account Reconciliations.
? Accounts Payable: maintain Accounts Payable detailed sub ledgers including auditing accounting reimbursement documents, following up on aging items, tracking invoices not received and account reconciliations.
? Inter-company Accounting: maintain the inter-company payables and receivable process including monthly confirmations and balancing with Ford Affiliates, processing payments and billings, reconciliation of Inter-company Accounts.
? Account reconciliation for all assigned GL accounts, follow up on aging items and unreconciled items
? Maintain books of account in a way that accurately represents the transactions and financial condition of the company.
? Collect data from all departments for month-end closing.
? Perform data validation and solve issues such as data missing, incorrect input, etc.
? Support Accounting Supervisor to close the book accurately on time.
? Complete annual MCRP review and comply with accounting regulations, tax laws and internal control rules in daily work.
? Prepare desk procedures for daily work and train the new employees for the processes and steps.
? Prepare and analyze subvention report.
? Carry out other ad hoc assignments, support or activities as required by the business

Requirements
? Have a good understanding of local general accounting principles, knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
? Self-motivated and a good team player
? Bachelor's degree with accounting and/or finance major
? Strong analytical and systematic thinking skills; solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices; Good PC skills; Fluent English (reading and writing).
? At least 3-year experience in corporate accounting field (accounting experience in financial institution is highly preferred).
? Experience of working in a multi-national firm is preferred.
? Be able to use ERP system.
