Job Description

As a MXA FA engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical characterization and failure analysis for all FA request from NPI and internal quality or SBL triggered issue. You need to have DRAM functionality, process, test program and device knowledge to draw out a suspection of the failure cause for FA samples, you will also need to use a variety of test tools and fault isolation tools to narrow down failure into limited physical location and porform physical destructive FA to find the defect.You will be expected to continuously improve the FA knowledge and skills, and improve the FA efficiency and effectiveness .

Responsibilities and Tasks

-Interpret tests results for electrical failures categorization

-Conduct failure analysis per request, compile the data and write detailed FA report, elaborate the FA result to the requestor or MRB as needed

-Able to operate FA tools (eg: uM3, FIB/ X-section, EDX, SEM,SAM, X-ray, Microscope and etc)

-Work with team lead, technician and engineers to improve lab operational efficiency, ensure TAT KPI is met

- Establish and maintain lab procedures to ensure the compliance with internal and external requirements (eg: customer requirements, industrial standards. )

-Identify & explore the FA capability gaps or opportunities for improvement to meet company business needs

-Drive/support quality improvement or engineering project.

Qualifications

-Bachelor or Master Degree on microelectronics

-Strong troubleshooting skill

-Good organizational skills and sharp attention to detail

-Good written and oral communication skills

-Efficient computer skills

-Knowledge of the DRAM structure/test program/functionality

-Ability to work independently or in a group environment

-Basic understanding of electrical equipment and FA tools
