We are now looking for a BINDING QA to be assigned in CHONGQING, CHINA

 

Summary of Position

 

Responsible for overseeing the production of assigned binding factories & other product facilities as needed to ensure that quality& safety requirements on all samples and finished products.

 

Essential Functions

 

• Responsible for working with the factories to assure that all finished products, will meet the product specifications, safety standards & in timely manner to support on-time delivery.

 

• Responsible for onsite factory in-process quality audit. On site QA has to spend time in the production for in-process audit to check parts or finished products

 

• Responsible to check FAV (First Article Verification) using final specs from developer or as required and report detailed result.

 

• Responsible to fill in and submit project tracker under help of Team leader  which records FAV and approval situation

 

• Responsible to report quality issue to quality team and work together with factory to analyze root causes and coordinate communication between factory and quality team.

 

• Responsible to prepare report on the project status and weekly production issues as needed then submit to: Hard Goods QAM/Senior Regional QAM/ Senior Global QAM and other CFT or as directed.

 

• Responsible to do final shipment inspection and send inspection report to

Hard Goods QAM/Senior Regional QAM/ Senior Global QAM and other CFT or as needed

 

• Responsible to work with Global Supply Chain team on issues which could affect PO ex-factory date.

 

• Responsible to arrange & send the test samples as required to designated testing sites. Follow up to ensure all tests are passing.

 

• Responsible for reporting any non-compliance issues found during factory visits and inspections.

 

• Responsible in performing all other duties as assigned by direct and indirect superior

 

Qualifications

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a good understanding of quality inspections process and procedures. He/She should have a good quality concept with a drive to pursue quality excellence.

 

 

Requirements:

1. College graduate or equivalent

 

• Minimum 2 – 3 years related experience of which directly in QA function.

 

• Experience with plastic injection process control.

 

• Experience with binding materials including but not limited to: PC,PA, TPU, EVA, metal components and fiberglass.

 

• Basic computer knowledge is necessary

 

• Positive team player, open minded attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills.  Flexible to changes. 

 

• Reliable, self-starter with good time management skills

 

Language skills

 

Ability to read documents in both Chinese and English such as Design Specification, Bill of Materials, Product Specifications and Procedures.

 

 

 

 

Travel Required

 

Mainly for assigned factory and it’s approved sub -contractors. Other travel will be required within China as needed during peak production times. 

 

Board Sport Industry Knowledge

 

This position requires general knowledge of or participation in the board sports industry.
