Job Position: Field Application Manager
Work Location: Shanghai or Beijing or Shenzhen
Report to: Director of FAES, Asia
Description:
FAE Manager provides technical expertise and value to customers who integrate company products with their own. Assignments include interpretations of designs, applications, and service information. Typically interacts with sales team, manufacturing, and marketing personnel; gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products. Typically is required to make or assist in technical presentations, demonstrations, and customer training.
May work through all phases of customer interaction including customer analysis, design implementation and product manufacturing; represents customers' interests at technical meetings within the company.
Responsibility:
? Technical support to major customer.
? Supervises, with operational focus in area of functional expertise.
? Manages the activities of individual contributors or supervisors in a section or department with accountability for results in terms of costs, strategies and employees.
? Manages direct reports on an ongoing basis. Manages employees who perform similar tasks
? May manage supervisors and non-exempts. Single function, location, organization, product, or technical discipline.
? Monitors projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
? Faulty decisions or recommendations, or failure to achieve results would typically result in significant expenditure of additional time, human resources, and funds.
? First level of management with human resource responsibilities.
Requirements:
? Must have BSEE, with MSEE preferred.
? Minimum of 10 years of design, product, test, or system engineering experience; recent Motherboard design experience highly preferred. With management experience is preferred.
? Strong knowledge of memory product (DRAM, NAND and/or NOR)
? Good verbal communication and written skills mandatory.
? Good organization skills and attention to detail.
