The position is in charge of marine/stevedore/intermodal/logistics cost reporting and analysis for responsible ports, support procurement negotiation on cost simulation and drive saving explorations with operations to achieve the target, as well as invoice control KPI performance and special invoice settlement

  

Key Responsibilities

    

1. Coordinate to solve the invoice dispute internally/externally and special case settlement

2. Support Chongqing GSC team from business/system/process wise for timely and accurate invoice approval, KPI performance monitor

3. Make monthly cost deviation reporting and reason analysis for responsible port/category

4. Monitor terminal throughput incentive, depot LOLO/MR rebate monitor and follow up

5. Support procurement team to negotiate with vendor by providing the historical data, forecast/simulate cost impact from different scenarios

6. Take ownership for contract filing, expiration monitoring and rates maintenance

7. Deep dive the cost deviations reasons, study vendor mix, size/cargo mix, route mix, TS longstanding monitor, port stay berth, empty flow supply, MR repair and recovery study to give recommendations to work closely with operational team for cost saving exploration

8. Support operational team to estimate cost comparison/impact for business decision

9. Explore cost saving opportunity and track saving progress through monthly Agility reporting

10. Support HO/ARO cost control if any ad hoc case/issue study

11. Coordinate with revenue control to ensure the cost recovery from customers are duly made

Play active role in HO system VCR/LISA etc testing and implementation

  

Required Experience & Skills

    

1. Bachelor or above, financial or logistics/shipping related in major

2. 3 years above experience on shipping industry or finance control related functions

3. Skillful on MS office, high command on Excel, fluent English with CET4/6

4. Strong analytical skills to data/reporting

5. Strong willingness to learn, high curiosity for problem solving, and result oriented

6. Good communication skills in written and orally

7. Ability of multiple tasks priority under time deadline

               8.  SAP/Oracle experience is much preferred
