Job Summary

  

This position is designed to maintain a territory of current accounts and develop new accounts within assigned area. It is executed under company directions and corporate policies so that to exceed outlined sales targets and objectives.

  

 

  

This is to be done with elaborate business planning, thorough market intelligence and aggressive daily sales activities. Communication with necessary local and North China Trades colleagues is crucial in business development.

  

 

  

Key Responsibilities

  

- Maintain/Improve market share on cargo volume, NTV, and Revenue; meet/exceed the assigned sales budgets.  

  

- Maintain positive relationship with booking agents to solicit business.

  

- Acquire new accounts and develop customers as required

  

- Control/Manage booking process per trade guideline and sub-allocation.

  

- Work with Operations/Logistics/Customer Service staff

  

- Communicate with trade manager and pricing on Rate Requests.

  

- Follow with sales lead within 2 working days

  

- Provide accurate forecast.

  

- Develop team-sell from existing/potential accounts

  

- Collect and analysis the market/competitor’s information

  

- To handle other ad hoc tasks assigned by Managers. 

  

 

  

Required Experience & Skills

  

1. Bachelor degree with relevant major

2. 2-3 Years in Shipping Sales

3. Good command of both spoken and written in English, Understand shipping regulations

4. Be proficient in computer application and office

5. Team work, listening and communication skill, product knowledge, customer knowledge
