The ABB Electrical Commissioning Engineer ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

- To serves on site as ABB’s prime interface with customer, authority, sub-contractors and site personnel, on all Installation and commissioning matters, contribute to planning and implementation of commissioning activities. Coordinates the installation activities with the Installation contractor.
- Implement commissioning design changes and provides mark-ups for as-built project documentation and support continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.
- Participate in internal project review meetings and provides inputs on commissioning activities, coordinate site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance Certification.
- Identify and recommend new effective solutions to meet business and customer needs, provide relevant information pertaining to commissioning assignments and meetings with customer.
- Manage external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems or services, prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative and report work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
- Troubleshoot simple equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future and provide relevant information pertaining to commissioning assignments and meetings with contractors/colleagues. Gives feedbacks to the organization to apply lessons learned process
- Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities, report unsafe practices and incidents. Conducts Safety Observation tour regularly to report and mitigate
- potential HSE hazards, conduct risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase to ensure implementation of commissioning plan, identifies and reports potential risks related to contract/quality/program/cost and recommends resolutions to management.
- and ensures stakeholders are updated on associated technical risks.

- Must have bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in installation and commissioning work with Electrical equipment like HV/ LV switchgear, transformers, UPS and etc.
- Knowledge and familiarized with IEC Standards and DNV, ABS class requirement.
- Required to have knowledge in electrical testing and commissioning procedure.
- Experience in Offshore/ FPSO E-House project would be preferred.
