We are looking for you as a new member of our software team in the "Solar" business unit. There we develop and produce machines and plants as well as turnkey factories for the production of thin-film solar modules. In this exciting position you will support the implementation and integration of the MES system at our customer in China. 

YOUR TASKS

• Support in the implementation of an external MES system (Camstar) for our customer in China

• Connection of our machines and plants to the MES system on site

• Close cooperation with SPS developers in implementing the interface to the MES system

• Independent programming and maintenance of the development environment incl. associated servers, databases and applications

• Support of the system including function development, function tests, training and documentation

• Integration of subsequent customer wishes / requirements

• Collaboration on internal and external software architecture projects

YOUR PROFILE

 

• Completed degree in computer science or a committed IT specialist with appropriate professional experience or a comparable qualification

• Practical experience in connecting production equipment to higher-level systems (MES systems), ideally with Camstar Semiconductor Suite

• Good knowledge of MES standards (ISA95, MESA) and BDE/MES systems from various manufacturers advantageous

• Experience with Advanced Process Control (APC) and SPC as well as reporting systems

• Familiarity with common programming languages (e.g. Java, C++, Visual Studio, etc.) and experience with frameworks and databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, mySQL databases)

• Results-oriented and structured way of working

• Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and strong communication skills as well as a high degree of initiative and independence

• A high willingness to travel and a very good command of spoken and written English complete your profile
