We are seeking a highly motivated project manager with strengths in project management and the ability and experience to translate pre-clinical projects through IND-enabling studies and into early clinical trials.  He/she will be accountable for project planning and implementation via partnerships with internal leadership, academic partners and collaborators and CROs.

The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to successfully deliver candidates through IND-enabling studies and early clinical trials.  He/she will be entrepreneurial and able to work collaboratively to deliver fast and efficient execution while ensuring robust scientific dialogue.

Specific responsibilities include:

 ·         Provide overall operational leadership for key pre-clinical, IND enabling and early development projects .

·         Working with key stakeholders, set and deliver on overall project objectives.

·         Collaborate with the Project Leader to develop and implement project management processes for preclinical and clinical development programs. This includes reporting tools to promote a highly effective project management environment and work climate within the Company that fosters accountability and productivity.

·         Track progress, monitor goals and milestones, and facilitate communications and actions to meet project timelines, resource allocations, budget parameters and decision making.

·         Be recognized as a program advocate across functional groups internally and alliances and engender the respect of all parties involved in the program.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

·         Master’s or PhD degree with 5+ years biopharmaceutical experience including at least 3 years project management

·         Demonstrated success in bringing projects from pre-clinical to clinical proof of mechanism

·         Thorough understanding of drug development. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·         Ability to succeed in a biopharmaceutical environment with multiple priorities and tight timelines.

·         Experience in budget forecasting, tracking and variance analysis preferred but not required

·         Strength in collaboration, able to work effectively across functional lines

·         Skilled in MS Project (Gantt charts) and the generation of slides (MS PowerPoint) and spreadsheets (MS Excel)

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

 ·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
