Empower House is seeking a Studio Manager who will contribute to the company growth by expertly and efficiently managing a studio and studio team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the Empower House culture and brand.  S/he will be personable, efficient and a high performer in a fast-paced, dynamic, growing company environment and will be responsible for upholding the day to day operations of their studio.

This position reports to the Director of Operations. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT

* Oversee the training of all new Assistant Studio Managers, full-time, and part-time hires

* Cultivate your bench of talent and identify high potentials within your team

* Provide in the moment feedback to your team when necessary

* Listen to, constantly check in with, and empower your team

* Constantly provide advice and coaching to your team and explain to them “the why”

* Acknowledge your teams wins and display gratitude

* Set the weather in your studio so that your team loves to come to work

* Create the manager schedule in a timely manner and plan for any schedule adjustments or manager vacation

* Request staff availability

* Create the part-time staff schedule each month and adhere to local laws and scheduling limitations

* Audit the schedule weekly for any changes in events, rides, and open shifts

* Stay ahead of your team’s schedule to set each day up for success

* Manage your studio’s part-time schedule budget tracker, schedule your team within your studio’s budget, and send to your Director if Operations weekly

* Approve your team’s DingDing punches daily and submit to payroll in a timely manner

* Oversee all onboarding of new staff, create their training schedule, and deliver readiness reviews

* Host weekly manager team meetings and monthly all-staff meetings

* Cultivate and maintain relationships with your instructors

HOSPITALITY

* Provide high-level customer service and exceptional hospitality to Empower House clients, handling client issues and concerns in a positive and timely manner

* Be the hospitality champion of your studio, and make your studio a place where riders love to come

* Provide in the moment hospitality training and support to your team

* Ensure all rider injuries and incidents have received proper follow up

* Provide support for your studio’s riders in the moment

* Build and foster community and become your studio’s mayor

BUSINESS, OPERATIONS AND MARKETING

* Develop holistic business plans for your studio that result in growth of both your ridership and retail sales

* Identify areas where you can enhance and grow your core business, and implement solutions on an ongoing basis

* Cultivate a 360 degree view of your studio

* Constantly check in with Assistant Studio Manager on all studio facility and maintenance needs

* Conduct daily and weekly walk-throughs of your studio and ensure that it adheres to brand standards

* Communicate with your Director of Operations and Assistant Studio Managers any urgent studio needs

* Work alongside your Assistant Studio Managers to create and execute monthly retail plans

* Work with your team to create and execute all in-studio marketing plans

* Ensure that all company-wide marketing initiatives are executed in your studio

* Develop and execute new rider acquisition and retention plans with your team

* Work alongside your team to execute in-studio events

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must have superior customer service and hospitality skills

* Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines

* Strong ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and senior management

* Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays

* Personal passion for fitness and/or the Empower House brand is required
