As a Technical Support Engineer-Servo, you will be part of the Motion Business and Drives Business Line (BL), based in Beijing. ABB is the World leader in Motion Business offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

You will play a key support role for the Sales team, preparing sales proposals in Drive Products Product Group/ Drives Business Line (BL)/ Motion Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Your strong technical and market knowledge will assist you in bringing efficient and effective solutions to customers.

? Working as part of LPG Drive Products, reporting to Technical Product Management manager.
? Servo product management as technical owner, including marketing material localization, documents management, technical support, competitor analysis and field quality improvement.
? Take the ownership of customer case management based on servo Drive, Motor and Controller products, be responsible for collecting, sorting out servo-related cases and coordinating with solution, PM, R&D, PMM to push cases resolution.
? Provide technical support, consultation and troubleshooting in the stages of system design, installation, operation and commissioning.
? Implement functional test and prepare documents for motion controller and servo drive.
? Provide pre-sale and post-sale support for customers and complete the commissioning pilot test machine for key customers.
? Act as contact window of Solution and R&D, transfer application problems into R&D language and follow up actions.
? Refine the Servo products function test and archive documents.

? Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in Power Electronics, Electrical/Electronic or Automation Engineering is preferred.
? 5+ years of experience in motion control system (preferably with a mainstream motion controller like Siemens, Beck Hoff, AB, etc.)
? Working experience of motion control applications in branch such as packing, Printing, rubber etc.
? Familiar with at least one mainstream PLC programming such as Siemens, BeckHoff.
? Good team spirit.
? Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on business work.
? Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese.
