JOB OBJECTIVES:
To support to conceive, identify, justify in TPU product developments by execution of TPU R&D activities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lab management:
1. Support to justify, plan and execution of maintenance and purchase of lab equipments
2. Co-operate with TPU R&D team to maintain the ISO related activities
3. Co-operate with TRDC chemicals' stock

- R&D activities
1. support to identify and conceive of way to improve current products and process by analyzing their performance using available scientific and patent information
2. support to formulate and execute self-conceived or assigned technical or research/development projects to demonstrate the technical advantages of new/innovative products or process as a member of team
3. Writes comprehensive reports and evaluations on data obtained from experimentation
4. support to direct and provide required training for the work of one or more lab technicians.
5. Co-operate with technical service/manufacturing/marketing in furnishing technical assistance to demonstrate the usefulness of company products and to solve field problems
6. Becomes expert in one or more areas of technology relevant to the business
7. Support to plan and carry out the original part of exploratory self-conceived projects after which, if they receive proper approval, become part of the planned program.

- EHS
1. Contribute to safety and Environmental standards of the Company
2. Support to EHS representative of TPU group.


REQUIREMENTS:

1. Master degree, major in polymer processing or chemical engineering.
2. 2-3 years in Chemical company, laboratory experimentation or technical experience;
3. Ability to deliver technical presentations in English, to write comprehensive technical report in English, with Knowledge or ability to learn or use quality concepts
4. Competencies required: Striving for Achievement, Customer Focus, Communication and Interpersonal Understanding, etc.
