Position: Manager, NVH Application Development, Cellasto
Work Location: Shanghai - Gaoqiao (Shuttle bus provided)
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Application Development, Cellasto

JOB OBJECTIVES:
Responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy of Cellasto NVH application to achieve market targets and support regional Cellasto business objectives. Specific responsibilities include annual and short-termed sales plans business and market development, market research and planning and coordinating with sales and engineers in the team. Build up expertise of NVH in Asia.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategy development
Develop and monitor the implementation of NVH application business development strategies, policies, (cross-functional) tactics and plans, pricing structure, promotion events, target accounts, resources necessary to achieve the agreed sales goals, by utilizing the outputs of analyses on market intelligence and current and future competitiveness in products/product applications/pricing/services. Prepare presentations to explain and introduce the company's current and future strategies.
2. Sales & marketing budgeting
Coordinate with local sales team to prepare the budget and oversee the expenditures in the NVH application business to ensure sales and marketing activities are conducted with cost effectiveness.
3. Market intelligence
Direct and lead the establishment of a database and the processes to obtain, update, maintain and evaluate market trends, the application of products/technology, the customers needs, intelligence on competitors, etc in order to identify new business opportunities. Oversee the performance of market research project, the development of competitor grid and benchmarking analyses.
4. Product and application management
Provide leadership and/or supports the design, development and implementation of product portfolio/ service lines, including the current and new NVH applications with Cellasto material and technology, participation in product launch, understanding to production capacities. Develop, review and revise the pricing structure, e.g. transfer prices, indent and ex-stocks prices based on cost analyses and current/foreseeable economic and competitive conditions. Continuously monitor the marketability/performance of the products to assure they continue to fit the defined strategy and take appropriate action to divest or revise. Plan and oversee the management of distribution channels, policies, distributor services, including analyses on the effectiveness and recommend changes as needed.
5. Support of local production
Participate in or lead local capacity plan and establishment, to gain actual production experience of using process conditions to influence product end-use performance and share the experience with the team.
6. People and function management
Plan the function structure and manpower requirements, headcount and budget, establish development measures and appraise the performance of the team. Train (via on-the-job, in-house and/or external training programs) and coach the direct reports (who are mostly experienced professionals/ managers) and build up NVH expertise in the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Master degree of mechanical engineering or automotive engineering with focus on automotive driving dynamics, , suspension or either damping systems or vibration engineering
2. At least 5 years work experience at one of the world leading automotive manufacturer (OEM) or leading automotive supplier for suspension systems
3. Good skills in engineering mechanics especially NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness);
Very good skills in existing automotive suspensions systems and requirements;
Fundamentals in specific values regarding dynamic systems and whose measurements;
Fundamentals in developing of suspension components and whose requirements;
Business & commercial fundamentals of sales & marketing;
Ambition for problem identification and solution finding.
4. Open-minded personality which like to work with different cultures; Team player; Creative and Imaginative and capable to work independent; Willingness to travel.
