Job Purpose:

To control the integrity of all credit & collection, system setup and various programs used to the company's customers and to inform management in order that:

l Distributors account and credit limit set up accurately and timely

l Cash flow are maximized by efficient and prompt payment collection

l The processes are efficient

l Minimize the bad debt expense

l The cash application, chargeback and dispute resolution

l Support Asia Pacific sales efforts through utilization of credit

Essential Duties:

l Analyze financial statements, credit reports, account history, trade and bank references and other pertinent credit information to make sound, independent credit decisions

l Monitor the customer's credit exposure so it does not exceed the established limits

l Evaluate and approve orders for shipment based on customer payment history, risk, and exposure

l Collect outstanding balances, utilizing various collection procedures including telephone, written communication, or personal contact with customer, and through collaboration with Sales and customer service as needed

l Identify, research disputed transactions and refer to the proper department or person for correction and/or resolution and follow up for timely response

l Responsible for daily & weekly & monthly credit report as a section of credit manager's report to regional managers and company management

l Month end close, account reconciliation and reporting

l SOX compliance and testing

Position Requirements:

l Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience

l At least 3 years in credit/ collection functions

l Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and make sound credit/ risk decisions

l International account experience preferred

l 2-3 years active experience with Oracle AR, Collection and Credit Scoring modules
