“中国?武隆?懒坝国际风情旅游度假区”项目规划为17.61平方公里，项目
总投资为30亿元人民币。该项目连续三年被重庆市列为市级重点建设项目。
项目主要是依托和利用懒坝原有的自然景观资源、宗教文化资源，引进国
际性艺术资源，打造一处集休闲旅游、宗教文化、国际艺术、康养地产为核心
的国际风情旅游度假区。
项目因地处懒坝而得名，其英文名称LAB，意为实验室、国际、文化、艺
术的植入，赋予景区名称丰富意涵，表明景区旨在通过多层次文化艺术与内容
的叠合实验，在传统景观旅游景区基础上形成差异化，构建一个面向未来，走
向世界的创新形态旅游景区。
