ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead and direct design and development engineering on assigned programs from concept to production. Provide engineering support and technical assistance to all Engineering customers, both internal and external.

2. Assist teams with problem solving and failure analysis.

3. Work together with team members to develop capable, cost effective manufacturing and assembly processes concurrent to product design activities (i.e. DFMA) to insure robust designs are delivered.

4. Interact with Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Designers, Purchasing, and suppliers to meet the specifications and needs of the customer in the development of new, reliable products for the market.

5. Develop, lead, and actively participate in the Design Review process for new products.

6. Assist in resolving multiple complex engineering problems simultaneously in a multiple team environment.

7. Continuously improve the processes, skills, team environment and tools necessary to achieve Moen’s product leadership strategy.

8. Develop and identify substantial intellectual property claims for Moen while working with project teams.

9. Primary products to include those in the NAFS portfolio (faucets, shower components, & sinks).

10. Proactively compile, prepare and present data for timely project updates and technical presentations to staff and/or senior management.

11. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

12. Salary grade will be based upon candidate experience and demonstrated performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. B.S. Degree in Engineering or the basic sciences.

2. Good written and verbal English communication skill is must for dealing with all levels of staff, customers, suppliers, and operations.

3. Minimum four+ years experience in Product Development Engineering with significant manufacturing exposure is must.

4. Experience with International suppliers preferred.

5. Cross-functional product development/ program management experiences preferred.

6. Fluent in the use of 3-D CAD (Preferably Pro/Engineer) and PC is must.

7. Successful track record in fast paced, speed to market environment.
