The primary responsibilities of this position is to coordinate financial analysis activities for FAFC, including but not limited to business plan/budge /forecast, pricing, operating cost review and cost control, financial reporting and regulatory reporting, and monthly closing review to track budget/forecast execution.


Functions Description

·Coordinate FAFC profit forecast, budget and business plan process, obtain and evaluate inputs from departments, facilitate discussion within the organization when necessary, prepare variance explanations, prepare review pack and lead review/discussion with FAFC and FCAP&A regional management.

·Initiate FAFC pricing by close liaison with Treasury to obtain the latest borrowing cost projection, review pricing assumptions to reflect changes in product mix and cost assumptions, develop pricing models to capture financing product renovation, evaluate financial impact from pricing, draft financial section of pricing paper and lead review/discussion with FAFC and FCAP&A regional management for pricing proposal.

·Coordinate FAFC operating cost review (at least annually) by close liaison with Operations, Risk, Sales and HR Departments to facilitate activity-based operating cost study conducted by Financial Analysts, evaluate reasonability of operating cost elements, do sanity check for headcount projection and initiate change request for operating/acquisition cost assumptions.

·Lead monthly tracking and monitoring for actual profit, pricing and operating cost results against budget/forecast and pricing proposal. Initiate actions to improve forecast/pricing accuracy. Track actual spending for line-item operating costs in the budget/forecast to ensure no budget overrun or seek approval when required.

·Review to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of regular management reports submission, including operating / financial review pack, variance explanations, financial and physical data submission, actual pricing, etc. Provide insights in key variances to draw management attention and facilitate management discussion.

·Review to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reports submission to China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) and People's Bank of China (PBOC). Lead communication and discussion with regulators to seek clarification and provide meaningful explanations/drivers for FAFC's business activities.

·Lead monthly closing review to timely identify anomalies in financial booking vs budget/budget, track budget/forecast execution and initiate corrective action plans when necessary.

·Support FCAP&A regional financial tasks as required.

·Support ad hoc reviews and analysis as required by the business.




Qualifications

·Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of key activities of Finance functions listed above; have done some or most of these activities within an international region or location; have the experience and proficiency in coordinating financial reporting and analysis.



·Education: University graduated or MBA degree with Finance, Accounting or Business major.



·Skills: Ability to work in a very demanding and diverse culture environment where accommodation for working schedule in different time zones is required; teaching and coaching skills; good English spoken and business writing skill; sophistication in coordination skill.


Experience: Had proven record in management role with Ford or Ford Credit in Finance capacities. Had broad experiences in various finance functions instead of one specific expertise. Management experiences in locations, international Regions or central staff is preferred.
