As a Design Leader, you will be part of the Robotics and Motion (RM) Division and Robotics (BU) Business unit, based in Chongqing. ABB is the World leader in Robotics and Motion (RM) division offering a wide range of products and services including drives, motors, generators and robots. Key applications include energy conversion, actuation, automation, standardized manufacturing cells for applications such as machine tending, welding, cutting, painting, finishing, palletizing and packing, and engineered systems for the automotive industry.

Your Tasks as a Design Leader will include the following:

1. OLP Programming:
？ Generate Robot OLP program according to standards or customer requirement.
？ Optimize robot paths to avoid collision.
？ Generate robot safety function parameter (e.g. Safe Move Safety Operation).
？ Offer OLP site user guide file.
？ Offer optimize advise for simulation cell.

2. Visual Commission:
？ Create Visual Commission Cell according to standards or customer requirement.
？ Visual Commission.

3.Site Support:
？ Site support for OLP (e.g. Cell alignment, robot work object calculates, robot tool installation check, trouble shooting for OLP load in, etc.).
？ Site OLP generate for site modification.
？ Possibility check for site modification.
？ Temporary job as site robot programmer.
？ Offer final documentation and file for OLP.

？ Bachelor Degree or above, major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
？ 3 years of Experience in Robot programming on site, Familiar with BIW Robot application and 2 years of Robot simulation/OLP working Experience for BIW application (Familiar with VOLVO, BMW, Mercedes BENZ, VW, GM standard will be a plus).
？ Familiar with ABB, KUKA, FANUC, robot programming, simulation and OLP.
？ Expert in Robcad and PD/PS, familiar with BIW application process is preferred.
？ Knowledge of Robot hardware and software.
？ Fluent in written and spoken English.
？ Good team work spirit, communication skill and able to lead a sub-supply team in a project will be considered as plus.
