JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Quality Engineer supervisor to join a fast paced and growing team in Fuling, Chongqing. He/She will be responsible for all quality related issues in the manufacturing process and from customer complaints, and drive the cross-function team effectively to put preventive action in the system. This role would suit for a proactive and preventive mindset, self-motivated, results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. He/She must have a strong overall quality mindset and good written and verbal communication abilities in both Mandarin and English.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on position accountable for the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s quality system and standards.

• Implement QA operating procedures including: training, corrective action reports (CAR, 8D), engineering changes (ECx), document/part control, in-process quality assurance, and quality metrics tracking and daily/weekly analysis of productions first pass yield reporting.

• Enforce compliance for raw material (component), Final product quality levels, SOPs, national and international safety standards and may assist in quality audits.

• Use quality tools (8D, 5xWhy, DOE, MSA, FMEA) to analyze quality issues, take initiate to form problem solving team to solve issue systematically based on sufficient data analysis and statistics.

• First article inspections (FAI) and new product introductions (NPI) including CpK and SPC process methods.

• Analyze the production process and WIP/raw material quality control; making decisions based on data & sufficient data analysis to the production process or final products as needed to assure the attainment of business objectives while insuring products standards will exceed the company’s quality standards.

  EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor/Engineering degree or higher, or college degree with relevant courses and a minimum of 3~5 years experience in a similar position in a cross-culture company in Electronics.

• Bilingual Chinese nationals with English (CET-6 or IELTS) level are preferred.

• A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to process information quickly and in a manner that's consistent with existing procedures.

• Proactive, Self-motivated, independent and confident to take initiative and carry out duties with minimal supervision.

  DESIRED SKILLS & EXPECTATIONS:

• Proven track record of managing electronics quality processes.

• Knowledge and experience in quality control and assurance programs, engineering and technology principles and practices. (Preference given to candidates with experience in electronics components, including injection molded parts, wiring, machines/tooling and assembly.)

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, setting priorities, identifying and addressing problems, and meeting deadlines.

• High level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.

  OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS:

• Adheres to all requirements for confidentiality of corporate and R&D information.

• Adheres to direction from management on sudden changes in personal schedules and priorities.

  COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

• Mastery of MS Windows , MS office and statistical applications.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day, healthy; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
